Night is falling - we issue instructions to our data logger as to how to fit himself in his baby-grow suit.....not all parts appear to fit easily. He reads on....

only 16 hours to go everyone!

Sadly at 17 hours 1 minute after the start, a tyre exploded just as Walter came through one of the fastest parts of the circuit sending him into the barriers, fortunately without any injury to him. The race ended for the Team at 0901 local time.

We will be there again in 2001.
